Rollerblading in Los Angeles

Sep162019
BeachesLos AngelesRollerbladingSports

Rollerblading in Los Angeles is one of the most fun things you can do on 6 or 8 wheels.

If you want to feel the wind in your hair and the sidewalk beneath your wheels while rollerblading in Los Angeles, you’ll find plenty of paths with smooth, flat surfaces outdoors. Hit Venice Beach and you can rollerblade for miles along the beach.

Feeling free!

Or for an incredible indoor rollerblading experience, check out our top spots for rollerblading in LA:

Rollerblading at World on Wheels

If you’ve already been rollerblading in LA, you will probably have heard of World on Wheels. This is arguably the top venue for rollerblading in Los Angeles. Located on Venice Boulevard, it is an enormous skate rink. They offer birthday and party packages. And if you have people in your group who don’t want to skate, there are plenty of other things to do, with amusements and refreshments.

Check out the weekly schedule, which includes a range of music nights, open skating, early-opening for after-school skating, and lessons, too.

Rollerblading Skateland Northridge

For rollerblading in the greater Los Angeles area, Skateland has a massive 12,000 square foot hardwood maple floor. If you’re looking for a party atmosphere, you’ll find it here. The roller rink features enormous video screens, hi-tech sound and lighting, and a live DJ.

This is a great place for affordable, family skating. Those who want a break from skating can enjoy great food, a large gaming area, and cat videos via free wifi.

Rollerblading at Moonlight Rollerway

Moonlight Rollerway has been in the roller business since 1956, when it was called Harry’s Roller Rink. When you take to your rollerblades in the Moonlight Rollerway, you’re skating on the original maple floor! The floor is super smooth, with no nails. It’s all tongue and groove for your skating pleasure.

This is a classic roller rink that you’ll love for its retro ambiance, rich history, and smooth surface.

For indoor rollerblading in LA, you can’t go wrong with any of our top three choices.
